The beauty of transformation comes from

seeds of liberation & resilience

The journey

Some of us who encounter peculiar challenges, and experience forms of mental/physical depletion, are called to transform out of under-serving patterns, or feel it’s time to embrace our greatest potential.

Regardless of where our seeds of life have been planted, together we can cultivate the spaces to grow into existence, a reality of ease, comfort, healing, balance, and support for nurturing inner resilience in this life journey.

Speaker

As founder of Gather & Garner and We Are Here collective, my path has lead me to encourage individuals and collectives to collaborate with one another, regardless of discipline or background.  Co-creating the space for transformative learning in order to liberate and heal, unleashing ones potential to embody self-awareness and resilience from within, and build the reimagined change to the structural foundation of the creative community and beyond. A connector and systems change maker from the inside out.

Eugenie Jolivett Fontana is an exuberant creative soul, to the core. Her passion for culture, transformative learning, and equity leadership has taken her from the multimedia creative world to the intersection of exploring the use of unconventional and innovative lenses of embodied resilience in reshaping our human culture.

She pioneered an interactive multimedia creative tech firm after receiving her degree from University California of Irvine. Witnessing the lack of representation across many creative sectors propelled her to co-create a collective space for folxs in the intersections (People of the Global Majority & LGBTQIA2S+) —We Are Here—in 2016. After devoting over two decades in creative spaces, she founded Gather & Garner.

As a speaker, facilitator, creative artist, and community activist who thrives at the intersection of culture, Eugenie believes embodying change is essential to collaboration, and uses the framework of somatic practices and trauma-informed resilience building to co-create positive change and liberation within individuals, organizations, and communities.

Eugenie has spoken on topics ranging from diversity in leadership to cultural barriers in the workplace, with PDXWIT (Portland Women In Technology), Visible Studio, Design Portland, Design Museum, to working with City of Portland, Portland State University School of Art + Design, PNCA Design, St. Mary’s Academy, to name a few. Cultivating diverse relationships and moving equity work through amplifying the intersections of voices, is the driving force of her being a creative conscious guide.
