Eugénie Jolivett Fontana is an embodied and relational facilitator, creative strategist, and systems change practitioner. As founder of Gather & Garner, she brings over two decades of experience working at the intersection of culture, equity, creativity, and embodied practice. Her work creates space for individuals and collectives to deepen self-awareness, build resilience, navigate change, and imagine more liberatory ways of working and being together. A connector and systems change maker from the inside out, Eugenie supports transformative learning that moves beyond individual growth toward meaningful change within organizations, communities, and the creative ecosystem.
Eugénie Jolivett Fontana is an exuberant creative soul, to the core. Her passion for culture, transformative learning, and equity leadership has taken her from the multimedia creative world to the intersection of exploring the use of unconventional and innovative lenses of embodied resilience in reshaping our human culture.
She pioneered an interactive multimedia creative tech firm after receiving her degree from University California of Irvine. Witnessing the lack of representation across many creative sectors propelled her to co-create a collective space for folxs in the intersections (People of the Global Majority & LGBTQIA2S+) —We Are Here—in 2016. After devoting over two decades in creative spaces, she founded Gather & Garner.
As a speaker, facilitator, creative artist, and community activist who thrives at the intersection of culture, Eugenie believes embodying change is essential to collaboration, and uses the framework of somatic practices and trauma-informed resilience building to co-create positive change and liberation within individuals, organizations, and communities.
Eugenie has spoken on topics ranging from diversity in leadership to cultural barriers in the workplace, with PDXWIT (Portland Women In Technology), Visible Studio, Design Portland, Design Museum, to working with City of Portland, Portland State University School of Art + Design, PNCA Design, St. Mary’s Academy, to name a few. Cultivating diverse relationships and moving equity work through amplifying the intersections of voices, is the driving force of her being a creative conscious guide.
